From News Center (Text and Photo by Wei Zheyuan, Office of International Exchange) On the afternoon of January 23, a delegation of four people paid an exchange visit to Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) for the study of LVTC’s experience in its industry-education integration with LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. (LiuGong). The delegation comprised Cai Bingkun, a professor at the Miao-Li Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School in Taiwan, China, Li Anyi, CEO of Feng Yue Li’s Enterprise Co., Ltd., LiuGong’s agent in Taiwan, and Service Managers Zhu Jiahui and Wu Tengying. Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC, and the head of the Office of International Exchange greeted these guests with warm welcome.

Accompanied by Wei Lin, Cai Bingkun and other delegation members toured the training facilities of LVTC’s School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and School of Automotive Engineering to gain deep insights into the joint construction of training centers between LVTC and enterprises, as well as its experience in order-based talent training. Cai Bingkun spoke highly of LVTC’s initiatives to carry out engineering practices and research and development of applied technologies based on enterprise projects it had introduced. He remarked that vocational colleges in the Chinese mainland are ahead of those in Taiwan Province in the construction of productive training bases.

On the morning of January 24, representatives of LVTC and the delegation including Cai Bingkun participated in an exchange symposium at LiuGong International Industrial Park. During the symposium, the head of the Office of International Exchange provided a detailed overview of LVTC’s educational philosophy and international cooperation and exchanges. Cai Bingkun said that the Miao-Li Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School in Taiwan, China would learn from LVTC’s valuable experience in "attaching equal importance to education and training and serving the global development of local leading enterprises" to strengthen its ties with local enterprises. He also added that he would promote further cooperation between relevant universities of science and technology in Taiwan, China and LVTC.

It is known that the Miao-Li Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School in Taiwan, China, founded in 1944, is a public vocational high school located in Miaoli City, Taiwan Province, China. It offers 13 disciplines, including food processing, bioindustry electromechanics, machinery, and electromechanics, and practical skills programs. With approximately 2,000 students, it stands as one of the largest technical vocational high schools in Taiwan, China and serves as a key school for vocational education in the Miaoli region.
