From News Center (Text by Zhang Shangmei, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Photo by Zeng Rongshuo and Lin Meiyi, Media Convergence Center) On the afternoon of December 7, 2023, the closing ceremony of the Capacity Building Workshop of CATC Session I: Indonesian Teacher Training Program on Advanced Manufacturing Technology was held at Ingenuity Academy. Vice President Ju Hongxia attended the event. Relevant heads of the Office of International Exchange and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, all teachers of the training program, and 11 trainees from 8 Indonesian polytechnic schools participated in the closing ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Wang Fuchun, Deputy Dean (Acting Director) of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

At the closing ceremony, Ju Hongxia congratulated on the success of this training program and expressed her thanks and encouragement to teachers and trainees who participated in it. She said that the series of activities could mark the beginning of our in-depth cooperation. In the future, more colorful activities such as teacher-student exchanges, professional training, and forums will be carried out based on the China-Indonesia TVET Industry-Education Alliance to jointly promote the prosperous development of bilateral cooperation in TVET industry-education integration.

Ella Sundari, a representative of Indonesian trainees, shared her learning gains and growth experiences during the training. She said that she had mastered the knowledge and skills of cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing technologies by learning advanced manufacturing technologies such as industrial robots, digital twins, reverse technology, and metal 3D printing, which greatly guided her work and study after returning to Indonesia.

All the personnel watched the learning summary video of the training program together. Since then, 11 trainees from 8 different polytechnic schools at the undergraduate level in Indonesia have completed the program. Ju Hongxia issued the certificate of completion to the trainees, and Wang Fuchun exchanged souvenirs with the trainees.

The successful organization of this training program reflects the profound school-running foundation of LVTC. During the coordination with the automobile and machinery industries, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering pays great attention to the application of new technologies and the internationalization needs of enterprises. It has cultivated a "double-qualified" bilingual teacher team with technical proficiency and excellent bilingual teaching capability. It has won great recognition from trainees and forged a profound friendship. Taking this program as an opportunity, LVTC will further strengthen international exchanges and cooperation with colleges and universities in ASEAN countries in the future, continue to promote China-Indonesia teacher training exchanges and the cultivation of international students under the "1+1+1" new model, further promote the in-depth development of China-ASEAN TVET cooperation, and contribute to the development of education and manufacturing industries in both places.
