LVTC Establishes 21 “Outstanding Talent Studios” Headed by Principal Teachers

Zhu Weicai, LVTC Party Secretary, Shi lingming, LVTC president, Zhang Xiang, deputy department-level investigator, Yang Xu, deputy secretary of LVTC Party Committee, Ran Fusong, chairman of Labor Union of LVTC presented at the ceremony. The hosts of “Outstanding Talent Studios”, leaders of affiliated colleges, leaders of CPC Organization Department, Education Administration and Practical Training Management Section, Science and Technology Development Department, Faculty Development Center and other relevant functional departments and member representatives of “Outstanding Talent Studios” attended the ceremony.

At the plaque awarding ceremony, Zhang Xiang announced the Decision about Approving to Establish 2018 Outstanding Talents Studio of LVTC. In accordance with the Decision, it was approved to establish Ju Hongxia Studio and other 20 “outstanding talents studios”; wherein, the studio of Gan Daxi, a skill master at autonomous region level established as approved by Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangxi in 2016 was of course among the list of “Outstanding Talents Studio”. Shi Lingming awarded the plaques to the first batch of “outstanding talents studios” of LVTC and expressed congratulation to them. Ran Fusong granted the honor plaque of “Liuzhou Advanced Creative Studio 2017” to Gandaxi Studio on behalf of Federation of Trade Unions of Liuzhou.

The 21 outstanding talent studios will work as an incubator that LVTC builds to cultivate high-end talents. The receipt of plaque means the commitment to a responsibility and also the burden. Professor Xiang Xiaohan, the host representative of the studios expressed that they would not let down the trust and entrustment from leaders and colleges absolutely and would come down to earth and work hard to faithfully fulfill the responsibilities of the outstanding talents studio by taking the studio as the carrier and focusing on the their own jobs with strong sense of responsibility and the sense of mission, so as to satisfactorily achieve individual construction objectives and tasks of the studios.

Chen Wenyong, dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, expressed on behalf of the organization to which some “outstanding talent studios” are affiliated that it would create a better working environment by taking the establishment of studios consisting of doctors, professors, and master craftsmen as new opportunity and by firmly setting up the concept that a famous school would be created by famous teachers; and it would also train talents through practice, motivate talents with mechanisms and pool talents with attractive environment, so as to make the college a hot spot for talents to innovate.

Zhu Weicai expressed sincere congratulations to the first batch of outstanding talent studios of LVTC. He pointed out that the purpose of establishing outstanding talent studios in LVTC is to give full play of professional leadership of outstanding talents as headed by famous teachers, skill masters, and excellent teachers and to speed up the cultivation of high-quality and professional teachers with high morality, exquisite professionalism, reasonable structure and dynamism by taking the studios as carrier, so as to provide a strong talent and intellectual support to establish a distinctive school.

It is expected that all members of the studios should have firm ideals and beliefs, strive to become communicators of advanced ideology and culture, and be a firm supporter of the party's governance, and better shoulder the responsibility for guiding students to grow healthily. He also required to actively carry out high-quality educational scientific research, develop quality education and teaching resources, and promote educational and teaching achievements. The hosts of the studios should strive to become the model for teachers, to influence and to lead the studios and even the whole faculty to make joint progress; the studio members should regard being a good teacher as a lofty cause and pursuit, improve the moral education and cultural literacy and strive to become a learning, research, and expert academic leaders and backbone teachers.
